The Daley Home is one of two Golden Pines homes in Troy, Michigan. The other, Herbmoor House, is about three miles north.

A featured walk-in shower and supportive equipment help us assist residents safely and comfortably, so daily routines feel dignified rather than difficult. Licensed Adult Foster Care, Which Is What Michigan Calls This
You will see the phrase "assisted living" on this page and across our site, because that is the
phrase families search for. It is worth knowing that Michigan does not license anything by that
name. The state licenses adult foster care, administered by the Department of Licensing and
Regulatory Affairs, and any home can use the words assisted living in its advertising whether or
not it holds a license. The license is the part that describes what a place actually is.
The Daley Home is a licensed adult foster care home. That licensing covers caregiver training and
background checks as well as the physical standards the house has to meet. It is a fair question to
